Joey Kola, Alex House and Scott Bruce
Doors Open at 8:00pm.
Joey Kola is known in the TV and comedy industries as one of, if not the, best warm-up men in the business. A warm-up man is integral to outstanding television production. The warm-up man's job is to jumpstart an audience who is not there to see them but to see the stars of the TV show. It's hard! It's an art form very few are familiar with. Joey Kola did the warm-up for The Rosie O'Donnell Show for eight straight years. That's where and when he truly got his warm-up chops. He then went on to do warm-up for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, CBS's The Late Show with David Letterman, the live Survivor finals, The Apprentice live finale, The Jane Pauley Show and now for The Rachael Ray Show.
Alex was destined to be a comedian. She was born and raised on Long Island-fertile soil for comedians the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Rosie O'Donnell & Lenny Bruce. Growing up without a TV forced her & her brother to entertain themselves by mimicking skits from Johnny Carson, The Carol Burnett Show & Saturday Night Live they had seen while sleeping over friends’ houses.
She has been nominated for "Comedian of the Year" by Campus Activities magazine. In 2004, she was a nominee for "Female Entertainer of the Year" by the same publication. She's a two- time winner in the Bud Light's Ladies Of Laughter Comedy Contest, has participated in the Toyota Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival and the Arizona Women's Funny Fest. She has also been on ABC's The View twice in the course of two weeks and was one of the East Coast Semi-finalists chosen out of thousands of comics on NBC's Last Comic Standing.
The one thing audiences are guaranteed with Scott Bruce is a good time and a lot of laughs. His quick wit, ad-libbing ability and natural timing make not just a great comic, but also one of the most sought-after MCs working today.
